Perhaps change does become a good thing, after all.




I'm pretty happy. Today, well on Monday (but I haven't gone to sleep yet,) I finally had a new tablet arrive. Mainly for two reasons;
1) Old tablet is old. It wouldn't cut it in the future.
2) This is compatible with Linux, Mac, WinXP, and WinVista. Which means if I get a new computer, I can still use this. Yay~


However, I've been without practicing digital art for quite a while. My latest scrap, after about half an hour of working on it, is a sign of that. It's still in progress, sure, but I feel like I've deteriorated just a little. Well, time to get back in the habit, ne?

Other new goodies is that I have a USB mouse, just in case I come across a game that's not touch pad mouse friendly. That, and I now have Photoshop CS3, instead of PS7.0 like I used to have. Which should make everything feel much smoother.



So, what's my new hardware? Genius G-Pen F610 6" x 10". I'm not sure on sensitivity, but I think the number was 1024 level? Well, those were my newest acquisitions.
